Kick Named to All-Academic Team

New Orleans, La. - Rising sophomore distance runner Julia Kick has been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I All-Academic Track & Field team. To qualify for the team, a student-athlete must post a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better and qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Kick, a management major, boasts a 3.548 GPA. She competed in the 1500 meters and the 3000 meter steeplechase during the outdoor season, qualifying for the NCAA East Regionals in the steeplechase. Her best time in the steeplechase this season was a 10:32.59, the third-fastest mark on the Wolfpack season-best list.
