Volleyball Releases 2010 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State head coach Bryan Bunn announced today the 2010 Wolfpack volleyball season schedule. The challenging slate is highlighted by one home tournament and 20 ACC contests, 11 of which will be played at home in historic Reynolds Coliseum.
"The 2010 schedule provides us with great opportunities to get the new era of NC State volleyball going in the right direction,” said Bunn. “I think the pre-conference schedule will prepare us well for the very competitive ACC.
“We will take all the matches one set at a time and learn about ourselves as a team as we begin to establish what we want the program to be."
The Pack will kick off its 36th season, first under Coach Bunn, with tournaments at Western Carolina (Aug. 27-28) and the University of Indiana (Sept. 3-4) before hosting its own at home (Sept. 10-11) with matches against Georgia Southern, Mercer and Morehead State. A final tournament at UNC Wilmington (Sept. 17-18) will cap off the team’s pre-conference jaunt.
NC State will begin its ACC portion of the schedule at home against North Carolina on Sept. 21, later hosting Boston College, Maryland, Florida State, Miami, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Duke, Georgia Tech and Clemson.
