NCAA Central Regional First Round Results
Columbus, Ind. - The NC State women's golf team is tied for 20th at the NCAA Central Regional held at Otter Creek Golf Course.
The Wolfpack as a team posted a score of 328 (+40). The team collected six birdies on the round.
Juniors Julie Saleeby and Brooke Baker carded an eight-over par 80 and are tied for 59th. Saleeby scored two-under par on the four par-5 holes during first round play. Baker birdied back-to-back holes on the back-nine.
Senior Emily Street shot an 83 and is tied for 86th at +11. Street had 10 pars and five bogeys on the round.
Senior Kathleen Strandberg fired an 85 to be in a tie for 101st at +13. Strandberg birdied hole No. 5 on the front-nine.
Senior Joanna Saleeby shot an 86 and is currently tied for 103rd at +14. Saleeby birdied hole No. 16.
Arizona State sits atop the leaderboard at +9 (297). Purdue's Thea Hoffmeister and Oregon's Kendra Little are tied for first at -2 (70).
Second round tees off at 8 am.
