Play Suspended at NCAA Men's Golf Regional

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Due to thunderstorms in the area, the second round of the NCAA Regional Championship was stopped before the teams could finish on Friday. The Pack still had all five golfers on the course when play was halted.
NC State currently stands in 11th place, at 12-over par. The top five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, and NC State is currently six strokes out of fifth place.
Junior Matt Hill continues as Pack’s top golfer, as he is at one-under par and was stopped on the 14th hole.
The top individual not on the five advancing teams will also advance to the NCAA Championship. Hill is currently one of four players that are currently tied for advancement.
Senior Adam Hogue and freshman Mitchell Sutton were both stopped on the 15th hole of their second round. Hogue is in 23rd place at two-over while Sutton is 36th at four-over. Sophomore Mark McMillen is at seven-over on the 16th hole, while senior Brad Revell is 14-over on the 17th hole.
Play will start tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. where teams will finish their second rounds, and the final round will start right after.
