RALEIGH, N.C. – Gymnast Lauren Deuser, who just received her undergraduate degree this past weekend in textile engineering, won the Chester H. Roth Honors Award. The award goes to the outstanding senior in the College of Textiles who plans on continuing a career in textiles.
She was nominated for the award by her peers, and the award was then voted on by the Textiles Scholarship and Award Committee.
While on a full academic scholarship with the Pack, Deuser was named to the EAGL All-Academic team all four years. She now plans on continuing her education in the masters program at NC State.
