Volleyball to Host Spring Action on Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. – Head coach Bryan Bunn and the NC State volleyball program will host a three-game tournament this coming Saturday, April 10, at historic Reynolds Coliseum. Admission is free and all Wolfpack fans are invited to attend.
East Carolina and UNC Greensboro will compete alongside the Wolfpack. All three programs will face each other once.
"We are looking forward to hosting ECU and UNC Greensboro at home this weekend,” said Bunn. “Spring competition is a great time to work on individual skills and incorporate a new system here at NC State. All the girls are working extremely hard, and they are excited about the new direction of the program."
NC State and UNC Greensboro will get the action started at 9 a.m., followed by East Carolina and UNC Greensboro at noon. The Wolfpack and Pirates will then close out play with a 2:30 p.m. tilt.
Saturday will mark the first opportunity for the new look Pack to compete on its home floor since Bunn was officially announced as head coach on Feb. 19.
Jana Angel, Taylor Pritchard and Alex Smith will all look to lead the Wolfpack next season as seniors during the 2010 campaign.
