Kornegay-Gober Wins High Jump with Personal Best

Freshman Kris Kornegay-Gober set a personal best to win the high jump in the first day of competition at the Duke Invitational, held at Wallace Wade Stadium.  Gober posted a 2.14m (7’0.25”) mark in the event.

On the women’s side, sophomore thrower Lawanda Henry was the top finisher with a second-place in the hammer throw with a 11.26m mark (36’11.5”).
