Henry Finishes Second in Hammer at Duke Invite

Sophomore thrower Lawanda Henry was the top finisher on the women's side for the Wolfpack in the first day of competition at the Duke Invitational, held at Wallace Wade Stadium. Henry took second-place in the hammer throw with a 11.26m mark (36’11.5”).
Freshman Kris Kornegay-Gober set a personal best to win the men's high jump Gober posted a 2.14m (7’0.25”) mark in the event.
