North Runs 5000 meters at Penn Relays.

Kayla Lawson and Andrew North competed for the Wolfpack at the Pen Relay Carnival today in Philadelphia. Lawson turned in a 1.71 meter (5'7.25") mark in the high jump to finish in a tied for ninth, while North was 13th in the 5000 meters, running 14:37.92.
North competed in a field of 41 runners in the college division and posted his best mark of the season in the 5k.
The Wolfpack men's and women's squads will compete again on Sunday evening at the HPU VertKlasse Meeting, hosted by High Point University.
