Former Wolfpack Standouts Compete in Mile Run

Former Wolfpack stars Stephen Furst and Bobby Mack competed in the Olympic Development division of the mile run at the Penn Relay Carnival in Philadelphia today. Furst, running for adidas Raleigh, finished second with a time of 4:01.21, while Mack, running for TAF Brooks, clocked in at 4:07.17 to finish seventh.
Furst was an All-ACC performer in cross country and was the 2008 ACC Outdoor Champion in the 5000 and 10,000 meters. Mack was a two-time ACC Cross Country Champion (2004 and 2008) and earned All-America honors in that sport in 2004.
