W. Golf Takes on Bryan National This Weekend

The NC State women’s golf team makes its annual spring stop at the competitive Bryan National Collegiate this weekend in Browns Summit, N.C. UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest co-host the event.
Once again, another stellar field is set to compete as 14 of the 18 teams are ranked in the top-40 of the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament runs Friday, April 2-Sunday, April 4 from the Bryan Park Players Course, a par-72, 6,323-yard layout.
Participating Teams: 18 Teams and six individuals (96 players): Arkansas, Auburn, College of Charleston, Duke, Florida State, LSU, Louisville, Northwestern, North Carolina, NC State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest
Schedule:
Friday - Tee times starting at 8:20 a.m.
Saturday - Tee times starting at 8:20 a.m.
Sunday - Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m
Admission: Free and open to the public

One of the premier tournaments in collegiate women's golf, the Wolfpack has played in this tournament every year since the program was reinstated for the 2000-01 season. The 2002 tournament saw the Pack finish eighth for its best showing in nine previous entries.
NC State is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Pinehurst Challenge on March 22-23. Sophomore Meghan Chapman secured her career-best ninth-place finish at the No. 6 course. Senior Emily Street wound up tied for 18th, while seniors Kathleen Strandberg and Joanna Saleeby and junior Brooke Baker all tied for 38th.
