Track & Field Completes adidas Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's and women's track and field teams completed action as it hosted the 2010 adidas Raleigh Relays. The prestigious national meet drew nearly 100 teams to Raleigh for the premiere event.
NC State senior sprinter Reggie Reese finished third in the 100m finals on the final day of competition Saturday.
Reese ran a 10.68 after posting a 10.58 in the semifinals on Friday.
For the women, Tiayonna Blackmon was ninth in the 800m invitational.
Two former NC State athletes also had strong performances at the relays. Former All-American long jumper and ACC Champion Dexter Adams won the long jump title, posting a mark of 25-03.50.
All-American, Multiple ACC Champion and 2008 Penn Relays champion Stephen Furst won the seeded 5,000m run with a time of 13:47.92.
