Hammond in Fourth at UNCW Lady Seahawk

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Freshman golfer Hayley Hammond finds herself in fourth place heading into Tuesday's final round of the UNCW Lady Seahawk Classic at River Landing Golf Club.
In breezy, spring-like conditions, Hammond shot rounds of 72 and 77 Monday to post a +5 (72-77=149) score through 36 holes in her first collegiate action. She was in third after an even-par 72 in round one.
Senior Cindel Gwyn is tied for 23rd at +15 (81-78=159).
Hammond, from Lake Norman, N.C., will start the third round seven shots out of first.
Final round begins Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
