
W. Golf in 11th place at Tiger/Wave Classic

New Orleans, La. - The NC State women's golf team struggled in round two not being able to build of day one's performance shooting a +31 on Saturday and +49 (625) for the tournament.
The team is in 11th place after two rounds heading into the final round of the Tiger/Wave Classic.
Sophomore Meghan Chapman led the Wolfpack women shooting a four-over par 76 and moved up 11 spots to 15th at +7 (75-76=151). Chapman had a solid front nine but had a tough time on the back going three-over par.
Senior Emily Street carded a five-over par 77 and is tied for 21st at +9 (76-77=153). Street was never able to get on a roll having five bogeys for the round.
Senior Kathleen Strandberg is tied for 84th at +18 (81-81=162).
Freshman Amanda Baker is currently in a tie for 105th at +23 (82-85=167)
Tulsa transfer Brooke Baker struggled throughout the second round and is tied for 114th at +26 (74-96=170).
No. 2 Auburn and host LSU are tied for the lead heading into the final day of the tournament with a team score +25 (601). Cydney Clanton of Auburn and LSU's Megan McChrsytal head into the final round with tied at -1 (144)
Final round begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 am.
