#24 Gymnastics Hosts Pittsburgh on Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. - No. 24 NC State gymnastics will play host to EAGL foe Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack is 8-3 overall and 5-1 in EAGL and is coming off of a win over No. 10 Nebraska, the highest-ranked opponent the team has ever defeated.
NC State is also 3-1 at home this year with its only home loss coming to No. 3 Florida.
The Wolfpack is 19-8 all-time against Pittsburgh.
Senior Taylor Seaman and sophomore Jess Panza are both ranked in the top-50 nationally in some individual events and will lead the team against the Panthers. Seaman is 39th-nationally on bars and 44th on floor. She also leads EAGL on bars and is third on floor and fourth on beam.
Panza is 33rd nationally in the all-around and second in EAGL, and also ranks 43rd nationally on beam and second in the conference. She is also 10th on floor.
Freshman Rachel Fincham - who won bars against No. 10 Nebraska - is ranked second in EAGL on bars and has earned one Rookie of the Week honor from EAGL this season so far.
Junior Brittney Hardiman is eighth in EAGL on vault, sophomore Brooke Barr is 10th on bars and sophomore Becca Teich is seventh on floor.
As a team, NC State is 20th-nationally on bars, 24th on floor and 25th on beam. The Pack leads EAGL in total score and bars, and is second on beam and third on both vault and floor.
