No. 62 W. Tennis Travels to No. 6 Duke

NC State Opens ACC Play: The No. 62 Wolfpack travel down the road to Durham to take on No. 6 Duke on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 4:00 p.m.
The Series Against Duke: This match will be the 45th matchup between the two opponents, which is the longest running rivalry for NC State. The Blue Devils hold the honor of being the Pack’s first ever opponent in its inaugural season in 1978. NC State lost the matchup 9-0. The Wolfpack hosted No. 7 Duke last year, losing 6-1. NC State last beat Duke in 2007, 5-2 when they were ranked No. 18 in the country.
Wolfpack Enter Rankings: With a 3-2 start to the season, NC State has entered the ITA team rankings at No. 64 on Feb. 18.
NC State Loses to USF: The Wolfpack fell to No. 33 South Florida 5-2 on Friday, Feb. 19. Sandhya Nagaraj and Tana Illova recorded the two points with singles victories. Nagaraj’s win over No. 26 Irene Rehberger was her first over a ranked opponent this season.
