DeMar Named to ACC All-Academic Volleyball Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Keri DeMar was named to the 2009 ACC All-Academic Volleyball team as announced by the conference office today. An outside hitter from Stamford, Conn., she was one of just four Wolfpack seniors on the roster this year.
To qualify for selection to the ACC All-Academic team, student-athletes must have earned a 3.0 grade-point average during the fall semester and have maintained a 3.0 GPA for their careers.
DeMar was second on the roster this past season in kills (225), third in sets played (117), fourth in digs (165) and total blocks (58) and ninth in service aces (7).
She finished her career at NC State with 467 career kills, 256 digs and 132 total blocks, having seen action in 280 sets and 104 matches.
A seven-time Dean’s List student, DeMar was named to the ACC Honor Roll as both a sophomore and junior.
