RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State fans curious to find out who and where the Wolfpack will be playing this postseason can watch the bowl announcement live on GoPack.com at 8:45 p.m.
Follow this link to the live events page at that time to hear comments from NC State head coach Tom O'Brien, director of athletics Deborah A. Yow and representatives from the bowl that extends the invitation. There will also be some preliminary information available about the Wolfpack's oppoent in the contest.
NC State (8-4 overall, 5-3 ACC) has played in 24 bowls in school history, most recently in the 2008 Papajohns.com Bowl, which it lost to Rutgers, 29-23, at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala. The Pack owns a 12-11-1 record in postseason contests.
