NC State Shuts Out LSU in Doubles

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - NC State women's tennis picked up three doubles victories over LSU Saturday at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Sandhya Nagaraj and Sanaa Bhambri posted an 8-4 win over LSU's top doubles team Adameck/Everett.
Joelle Kissell and Tana Illova teamed to score an 8-1 win over LSU's Burns/Morton pairing.
Christy Sipes and Ashley Miller shut out Kylie Adameck and Hayley Everett 8-0 to notch the Wolfpack's second win of the day.
"We were looking for the girls to show some fight on the court and they did a great job with that," said NC State head coach Hans Olsen. "They were very strong today with their teamwork, really jelling as a team out there."
The Wake Forest Invitational concludes Sunday with NC State matching up against Tennessee in several singles matches. Full results will be posted to GoPack.com at the close of competition.
