Men's Soccer to Host #12 Virginia in Home Finale

RALEIGH, N.C. -
The NC State men’s soccer team will celebrate senior day tomorrow night, as the Wolfpack will host No. 12 Virginia at 7 p.m. at Dail Soccer Field. The game will mark the Pack’s final regular season game, as the ACC Tournament will be held next week in Cary, N.C.

Before the game, the Pack will honor its four-member senior class:
• Lucas Carpenter – Has started all 51 games he has played over the last three seasons, and 62 games during his four-year career. Has one goal and one assist this season playing as an outside defender.
• Akil DeFreitas – Has seen action in 16 games this season, at both forward and outside midfielder. He has three goals and two assists on the season. His best game of the season was a two-goal, one-assist performance against Presbyterian.
• Tyler Lassiter – Has started all 70 games he has played in during his Wolfpack career. This season, he currently leads the team in points (17) and assists (5), and is tied for the team lead with six goals.
• Chris Zuerner – Has started 54 out of a possible 58 games over the last three seasons. He is tied for the team lead with six goals this season, and is second in points (16) and assists (4).
Virginia, the defending national champion, enters the contest with a record of 10-3-3, and 2-3-2 in ACC play. The Cavs are ranked No. 12 nationally on CollegeSoccerNews.com, and No. 15 in the NSCAA poll.
