RALEIGH, N.C. -
For the second straight year, the NC State men’s soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Awards. The Wolfpack has now earned the award for two straight years, the first two years in school history.
A total of 630 soccer teams, including 194 men’s programs and 436 women’s teams, posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2009-10 academic year
"This is a great honor and demonstrates the importance our student-athletes place on their academics,” said associate head coach Dan Popik. “We are always excited when awards like this honor our guys efforts off the field.”
