NC State concludes its season this week with a pair of games at Virginia on Thursday at 7 p.m., and at Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Freshman Jennie Krauser and junior Kristina Argiroff are tied for the club lead with five goals and 14 total points, while junior Tanya Cain has compiled 12 points with four goals and four assists.
Goalie Kim Kern has started all 17 matches and owns a 1.25 goals-against-average. She has made 75 saves with a .789 save percentage and has posted four shutouts in her junior campaign.
Scouting Virginia
The Cavaliers enter the game with an 11-3-2 record this season and a 5-2-1 mark in the ACC. Last week, Virginia traveled to Florida for two games, tying No. 8 Florida State 0-0 and defeating Miami 4-1.
The Series
NC State is 12-19-1 all-time versus the Cavaliers. Last season, the Wolfpack put a stop to the Cavaliers' 14-match winning streak in the series with a 2-1 win. Paige Dugal scored both goals, including the second with just over two minutes left in regulation over the 14th-ranked Cavaliers.
