Autograph Sessions Highlight Fan Zone Activities

Be sure a stop in Fan Zone is on your schedule on game day. Fan Zone, located on the front lawn of the RBC Center, opens at 3 p.m. on Saturday and is packed full of activities for Wolfpack fans of all ages! Several autograph sessions will take place during Fan Zone prior to the Gardner Webb game. NC State's Women's Basketball team will be signing autographs from 3 - 5 p.m.
The Durham Bulls, newly crowned International League champions, will be on hand from 5 - 5:30 p.m. signing autographs, along with Wool E. Bull, the team's mascot. The Bulls will also have sumo wrestling suits available for Wolfpack fans to battle it out while wearing the padded suits.
Former NC State Football player Alvis Whitted is also scheduled to sign autographs from 3 - 5 p.m. Whitted was a former wide receiver and a stand-out runner on the track team while at NC State. He played professional football for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders during his NFL career.
Stephanie Zonas, author of Leader of the Pack, will be available to sign copies of book about Coach Kay Yow's life. Comprised of stories and memories from 35 former players, Leader of the Pack shares these inspirational stories to keep Coach Yow's memory alive. Several former NC State Women's Basketball players who contributed to the book will join Zonas for the book signing.
Fans will also be able to show their Wolfpack pride on their faces! Face Painters will be on hand, courtesy of Capital Bank, ready to paint faces NC State red and white.
Other activities scheduled for Saturday's Fan Zone include:
- Barbecue Lodge will have food for sale.
- Fans can register to win a John Deere Gator at the John Deere tent.
- Visit the MIX 101.5 and 99.9 The Fan tents.
- The WITH Partners and Partnership for a Drug Free NC will be promoting Wolfpack sportsmanship and encouraging fans to have a designated driver.
- Fans can register for free oil-changes for life and participate in the Tuffy Toss at the Atlantic Tire tent.
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC will be providing information about their Student Blue program.
