Men's Golf in Fourth Place at Maryland Intercollegiate

Cambridge, Md. – After the first round of play, the NC State men’s golf team is currently in fourth place at the Maryland Intercollegiate after firing a score of 286. Second round action was cut short due to darkness, so the conclusion of that round and the third and final round will both take place tomorrow.
Wolfpack freshman Mitch Sutton was the Pack’s top performer in first round action as he shot a three-under (69). Senior Brad Revell sits in sixth place after he had a two-under (70). Senior Hertzog Landman had a one-over (73), while senior Kent Copeland and junior Matt Hill each shot a two-over (74).
North Carolina holds the overall team lead after the first round, with a 280. UNC’s Henry Zaytoun holds the individual lead as well, shooting a six-under (66).
