RALEIGH, N.C. – Head coach Charita J. Stubbs and the Wolfpack volleyball program will hold its annual Red & White Scrimmage this Saturday, Aug. 15 at historic Reynolds Coliseum. Scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., the free event is open to the public and all NC State fans are invited to attend.
“I am excited for the girls to put on uniforms and show everyone what a wonderful preseason we've had,” said Stubbs. “We will be fun to watch.”
The 2009 Pack boasts 15 players, including 13 from the 2008 version as well as two freshmen newcomers. Four seniors – Allison Davis, Keri DeMar, Lisa Kretchman and Arlee Tamietti – will look to close out their careers in the red and white alongside five juniors and four sophomores.
NC State will kickoff its 2009 campaign officially with the NC State Hilton RTP Classic, Aug. 28-29 at Reynolds Coliseum.
