Saleeby Earns 2nd All-American Scholar Honor

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. NC State rising junior Julie Saleeby has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team for the second-straight season.
The business administration major recorded a 78.33 scoring average in her sophomore season, tying for fourth on the team. The Raleigh, N.C., native ginished tied for 22nd at the Qdoba Invitational for her best finish of the season. Saleeby became just the fourth women’s golfer at NC State to record a hole-in-one during the final round The Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
Among all three Divisions (I, II & III), a total of 410 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent of all college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
