Pack Track Has 3 on USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Three student-athletes from the NC State track and field programs have been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic teams. Greg Dame and Bobby Moldovan grabbed the honor on the men’s team, while Brittany Tinsley took the distinction on the women’s side.
The USTFCCCA honors Division I individuals for their academic and athletic achievements during the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or the NCAA Division I Outdoor regional or national qualifying standard in their respective event.
Moldovan posted the third-best 5,000m mark in the ACC this year, while Dame hit a regional mark in the 1,500m. Tinsley finished 20th at the NCAA Championships in the 10,000m with a 35:33.74.
