Two Women's Tennis Players Earn Final Rankings

RALEIGH, N.C. - Two NC State women's tennis players earned singles and doubles rankings in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's final rankings for the 2009 season. Junior Berkeley Brock earned a spot in the rankings towards the end of the regular season following bright spots such as defeating then-No. 23 Ellah Nza of Duke. She ends the season at No. 114 in the singles rankings. Sophomore Lenka Hojckova competed for the Pack at the No. 1 singles spot a majority of the season and earned a final singles ranking of No. 97. The duo also played at No. 1 doubles most of the season, defeating many higher-ranked doubles tandems, and Brock and Hojckova finish at No. 58 in the doubles rankings.
