RALEIGH, N.C. - Social media has found NC State Athletics. Twitter is all the rage across the country (and world) as celebrities and "normal" people "tweet" their updates to the world. The NC State Athletics Department has already created Twitter pages for a handful of sports, with more coming down the line.
The official Twitter pages can all be found off of the main page of GoPack.com. Scroll down to find the banner ad. You can also check out the full listing, HERE.
PackFootball
The first Twitter page setup through NC State, the www.twitter.com/PackFootball page has been updated regularly by the staff out at the Murphy Football Center and with links from GoPack.com courtesy of the media relations office. Currently the leader in followers, PackFootball is a great source for breaking football news and to get a glimpse into the weekly lives of the coaches as they go out recruiting throughout the year.

Follow the men's basketball team on twitter at www.twitter.com/PackMensBball. The coaches and media relations staff will keep fans updated during the summer and leading into and throughout what plans on being an exciting 09-10 season.

How to join Twitter:
Point your browser to twitter.com.
Click on the green “Get Started Join!” button.
Complete the steps and you now have a Twitter account!
Go to Gopack.com, click on the twitter banner lower on the main page.
Click on the links to the Pack Twitter pages you are interested in.
Press the FOLLOW button.
Get Pack Twitter pages on your cell phone:
Add your cell phone to your twitter account (login --> settings -->devices)
Text verification code to twitter (40404)
Turn on device updates for each Pack page you follow.
