BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - The NC State women's golf team improved to 13th out of 18 teams after the second day of the Bryan National Collegiate in Browns Summit, N.C. Emily Street is tied for 22nd after the second day after posting a score of 77 in the second round. She posted a 76 on the first day. Lauren Doughtie improved nine strokes from yesterday to shoot a 75 to lead NC State. The Pack has a team score of 622 after improving the team score ten strokes from yesterday's round.
LSU remains in first with a team score of 592 and Nannette Hill of Wake Forest was one of two players to break par on the second day of the tournament.
Kathleen Strandberg scored a 76, and Meghan Chapman shot a 78. Julie Saleeby posted an 82 on the second day of play.
