Campana, Ojeda Named to Under Armour All-Tournament Team

RALEIGH, N.C. Lindsay Campana and Hannah Ojeda were both named to the USF Under Armour Invitational All-Tournament Team on Monday, March 9. The NC State duo helped lead the Wolfpack to a 4-1 record during its trip to Clearwater, Fla., culminating in a third-place overall finish out of the 16-team field.
Campana picked up two wins and a save in 16 innings of action. She allowed just 15 hits and four free passes while fanning 22 against 66 batters faced. Of the five runs scored against her, none of them were earned.
Ojeda, a native of nearby Tampa, Fla., started and played in all five games, racking up six hits, five runs scored and an RBI for a .400 batting average. She was also perfect on the basepath, swiping three bags in as many attempts, while gunning down three would-be runs at the plate with dead-on throws from centerfield.
NC State will host Michigan State tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, for two games at the Curtis & Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium on campus. Game one is slated to begin at 4 p.m., with the second contest following immediately afterwards. GoPack.com will carry live stats for both games and ACC Select will offer a live video broadcast.
