Former Wolfpack Star Third at USA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - Former NC State track and field star Dexter Adams was third in the long jump at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The championships were held in Boston, Mass., on Saturday and Sunday.
Adams jumped a 25'04.50" (7.73m) to finish third, two and one quarter inches short of the event leader.
Adams graduated last year and was an NCAA Indoor All-American in the long jump. He won the ACC Indoor long jump title last season and was second during the outdoor season. His personal-best jump of 26'00.25" is the third best mark in Wolfpack history.
