Men's Soccer Announces Spring Slate

Raleigh, N.C. The NC State men’s soccer team will play a five-game spring schedule, including wrapping up its spring season with a home game at the NC State Soccer Stadium.
The Wolfpack started the spring with an exhibition contest at the USL’s Carolina RailHawks last week. The two teams played three, 30 minute periods, with the RailHawks notching the game’s lone goal.
NC State will next face UNCG on March 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Spartan Stadium. The Pack will also travel to Virginia on April 4.
The Pack will play two contests close to home. First NC State will play Duke on March 27 at 7:00 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Then NC State will host its annual Spring Game on April 8 against the Wilmington Hammerheads of USL2 at 7:00 p.m.
NC State returns all 11 starters from a season ago, including its top eight point producers as well as its top three goalies. The Pack ended 2008 strong, winning eight of the final 11 games on the season, only falling to a trio of top-five foes.
