Iboaya, Wood Named to All-ACC Academic Volleyball Team

RALEIGH, N.C. Aiwane Iboaya and Kelly Wood were both named to the All-ACC Academic Volleyball team as announced by conference commissioner John D. Swofford on Friday, Feb. 20. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
Iboaya, a senior this past season, is a native of St. Joseph, Mo. Wood, in her first year with the Pack, hails from Yadkinville, N.C.
Iboaya ended her career at 10th in school history for total blocks with 316. She also put up 620 career kills, led the squad this season in blocks with 120 and was second in kills with 231.
Wood stood as the team's top libero for the vast majority of the year, leading the squad in digs with 486. She will attend tryouts for the U.S. National Team in Colorado Springs, Colo., Feb. 20-22.
