Two Women's Soccer Players on ACC All-Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - For the fourth straight year, NC State women’s soccer player Tami Krzeszewski has been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team announced by Commissioner John D. Swofford.
Additionally freshman Paige Dugal, a biomedical engineering major, was tabbed to the 42-person team.
A team captain the last two seasons, Krzeszewski started all 18 games for the Wolfpack this past fall and picked up one assist playing as a defender for the first time in her four-year career that spanned 74 collegiate starts.
She carries a 4.00 grade point average in social work and has made the Dean’s List every semester at NC State.
The Erie, Pa., native appeared in 75 matches with the Wolfpack and missed just one game since arriving in Raleigh for her freshman campaign in the fall of 2005.
Krzeszewski is one of only four players who have been recognized every year since the inception of the academic award in 2005-06.
Dugal, who hails from Garner, N.C., started 14 games and saw time in all 20 matches in her first season with the Pack in 2008. She finished third on the club with 10 points on four goals and two assists. She scored the game-winning marker in the 2-0 win over Western Carolina in the opening weekend of the season.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
