Hill Shoots Another One-Under Saturday

JOHNSON CITY, TENN. – Action continued on Saturday for the NC State men’s golf team at the Bank of Tennessee @ The Ridges in Johnson City, Tenn. The nationally ranked Wolfpack finished with an identical score from yesterday’s first round, shooting a nine-over (297) on Saturday and now stand in 14th place at 18-over (594).
Junior Matt Hill continues to pace the Pack, after shooting a one-under (71) for the second straight round. Hill had three birdies on the day, and stands in 10th place overall.
Freshman Mitchell Sutton had a round of two-over (74), while senior Brad Revell was three-over (75) in Saturday’s action.
The Pack came into this weekend ranked No. 9 according to Golfstat.com and No. 11 in the latest Golf World/Nike Coaches’ Poll.
Oregon State and Tennessee are tied for the team lead at nine-under (567), while the Beavers’ Diego Velasquez continues to hold the individual lead at eight-under (136).
