Bouemboue Nabs ACC Honor

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State’s Ronnie Bouemboue was named Co-ACC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week in helping the Pack to a perfect 2-0 record last week.
Bouemboue scored the lone goal in the Wolfpack's 1-0 win at then-No. 8 Duke. The senior forward scored with 49 seconds left in the second overtime. For his efforts, Bouemboue was named to both TopDrawerSoccer.com and CollegeSoccerNews.com teams of the week.
Currently, Bouemboue leads the ACC in both goals (6) and points (17).
In the latest RPI rankings, NC State checks in at No. 6. The Pack is also ranked in all four of the national polls for the sixth straight week, as NC State is No. 12 in Soccer America, No. 13 on CollegeSoccerNews.com, and No. 14 by both the NSCAA and Soccer Times.
NC state has now won four straight, earning the shutout in three of those contests.
The Pack returns to home action tonight, hosting Georgia Southern at 7:00 p.m. at the Dail Soccer Field.
