RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State volleyball returns to Reynolds Coliseum this weekend, hosting ACC contests against Maryland and Boston College. Friday’s match will serve as the Wolfpack’s annual “Dig Pink” event, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Admission to both matches is free, and side court seating will be available throughout the weekend.
The Pack will take on Maryland (9-7, 1-2 ACC) on Friday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m., before battling Boston College (10-4, 0-3 ACC) at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Both the Terrapins and Eagles will take on North Carolina in nearby Chapel Hill before facing the Wolfpack in Raleigh.
“Dig Pink” is sure to be another memorable event, and all fans are encouraged to wear pink. Pink wristbands will be given out to the first 100 fans, while pink pom-poms will be handed to the first 500 fans. Donations will also be accepted, with donors being automatically entered into a raffle for a variety of prizes. Several winners will be announced throughout each timeout and in-between sets. Prizes include gift certificates to local restaurants as well as Wolfpack athletics paraphernalia and collectibles.
Fans that are unable to attend and wish to make a donation may do so via this link. All donations collected will go directly to the Side-Out Foundation.
Saturday’s bout with the Eagles serves as Club Volleyball Night, with all area club teams invited to attend. Following the match the team will be available for pictures with fans.
