Brooke Barr Named EAGL Rookie of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State freshman gymnast Brooke Barr earned EAGL Gymnast of the Week honors after her performance at No. 8 Michigan and Kent State. The honor marked back-to-back weeks that an NC State freshman earned the award, as Jess Panza was honored previously.
Barr competed on floor, vault and beam, scoring a 9.750 on each of the three events. She finished third on floor, and fifth on both vault and beam.
NC State will travel to Maryland this week to face the Terps and No. 17 Denver.
