RALEIGH, N.C. The NC State men’s soccer team will play only its second home contest of the season, when the Wolfpack plays host to VMI Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at the NC State Soccer Stadium.
The Wolfpack is coming off an overtime loss at #14 North Carolina, and currently sits at 0-3-1 on the season. Freshman Watt Williams collected his first collegiate goal against the Tar Heels, and junior Christopher Widman was in goal for the Pack for the first time this season.
NC State will be getting the services back of starting defender Tyler Lassiter, who was forced to miss the UNC game with a red card.
VMI enters the contest at 0-3 on the season, having been outscored a combined 6-1. Three different Keydet keepers have started a game this season, with freshman Adrian Dominguez seeing the most action in goal.
The two teams have met only once before. Back in 2002, NC State earned a 2-0 home win over the Keydets.
