Standout long jumper DeMiracle Washington will head to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time in her career. The senior standout had a tremendous season in the long jump and triple jump.
Washington finished fifth in the long jump at the NCAA Regional meet to advance to the national meet, and she is the school record holder in the event. She is the only female NC State athlete to ever jump 20 feet, something she has accomplished two times in her Wolfpack career.
She is also second all-time in the triple jump at NC State, as she will graduate as one of the more decorated and dominant jumpers in the red and white.
