Men's Soccer Releases 2008 Schedule
6/10/2008 12:00:00 AM | Men's Soccer
Raleigh, N.C. NC State men’s soccer coach George Tarantini has announced the Wolfpack’s 2008 schedule. This season, the Pack moves into its new on-campus facility, NC State Soccer Stadium, located across from Reynolds Coliseum inside Derr Track. For the first time in school history, NC State will be able to play night games.
“The whole men’s program is so excited about playing in our new facility right in the heart of campus,” said Tarantini. “Students will now be able to have easy access to the stadium, and create a totally home field advantage. We have a very tough schedule once again, but that is nothing new considering the ACC is the top conference in college soccer.”
NC State will open the new NC State Soccer Stadium on August 30, with a 7:00 p.m. contest against Mercer.
The Wolfpack will play host to Boston College, Wake Forest, Maryland and Virginia Tech in home ACC action during the 2008 season.
The Pack will have one exhibition game, August 23 at South Carolina.
