NCAA Regional Marks by Reese, Jones Lead Track & Field

NC State men's track and field athletes Reggie Reese and Jason Jones both hit NCAA regional marks to lead the team at the Carolina Classic in Chapel Hill, N.C. Reese hit a pair of marks in the 100m and 200m, while Jones hit the shot put standard for the sixth time this season.
Reese ran a 21.25 to finish fourth in the 200m, his fastest time of the season and the ninth best in the ACC in 2008. Reese also finished second in the 100m with a time of 10.40, his second regional mark in the event this season.
Jones' throw of 58'04.00" was his career-high and the sixth NCAA regional mark for the sophomore so far this season. It was the third-longest throw in the ACC in 2008.
Eric Davis was second in the high jump with a height of 6'08.75," his personal-best mark and the third-best mark in the ACC.
Dexter Adams finished third in the long jump (22'07.00"), ninth in the 100m (10.76) and 11th in the 200m (21.66).
