Lee Fowler Hosts 6th-Annual Charity Golf Tournament

CARY, N.C. -- The sixth-annual  Lee Fowler Charity Golf Tournament was held Monday April 7, 2008, at Prestonwood Country Club, with proceeds going to fight ALS. Sponsors for the event, which featured more than 150 golfers, included NC State’s Phi Delta Theta fraternity, The Jim “Catfish Hunter” chapter of the ALS Association and Northwestern Financial Services.

In its first five years, the tournament has raised more than $100,000. This year's proceeds will be announced after all donations have been received.
