Hutton, Adams, Vegh Impressive for M. Track & Field

NC State men's track and field had a successful stay at the Aggie Relays in Greensboro on Saturday. Dexter Adams won the long jump, while Kevin Hutton posted a career-best in the 200m dash to pace the Pack. Tibor Vegh and Scott Crews competed at the Stanford Invitational in the 10,000m, with Vegh reaching a NCAA regional provisional mark with a time of 29:00.52.
Adams jumped 24'03.75" to win the event, the eighth time in 11 meets over the indoor and outdoor season that he won the title outright. Adams, the ACC indoor champion, finished sixth at the NCAA indoor championships to earn all-America honors.
Hutton, a hurdle specialist, showed his speed in the 200m dash, posting a 21.39, the third fastest time in the ACC this season and a personal-record.
Eric Davis cleared 6'02.00" in the high jump, and ranks eighth in the ACC in the event.
Reggie Reese finished fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 10.65, his second-best time this season. He currently ranks third in the ACC with a 10.61.
