Bethea Earns All-ACC Honors in High Jump

Mattie Bethea earned All-ACC honors in the high jump with a third place finish with a height of 5'07.75" and also finished seventh in the heptathlon with a score of 4,977. The women's track and field outdoor championships continue in Atlanta, Ga. on Saturday for the final day of competition.
Alesha Patterson, who earned All-ACC honors during the indoor season in the high jump, was eighth at the outdoor championships with a height of 5'06.50". Kayla Lawson also matched that mark and finished ninth.
DeMiracle Washington, the ACC Indoor Champion in the long jump, was fifth in the outdoor event with a distance of 19'00.00".
