Volleyball Releases 2008 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. NC State head volleyball coach Charita J. Stubbs announced the team’s 2008 fall schedule on Wednesday, April 16. The Wolfpack will compete in four early season tournaments, including serving as the host of the NC State Classic, before working its way through a challenging 20-match ACC schedule.
State will kick-start its season Aug. 29-30 at the Virginia Commonwealth Tournament in Richmond, Va., before heading to Colorado Springs, Colo., for the United States Air Force Academy Tournament, Sept. 5-6. The following weekend, Sept. 12-13, the Pack will welcome William & Mary, UNC Asheville, Norfolk and Western Carolina to Raleigh for the NC State Classic. A two-day stay at the East Carolina Tournament in Greenville, N.C., Sept. 19-20, will end the red and white’s non-conference slate before ACC play begins on Sept. 26 against Boston College at home.
