Five Hit Regional Qualifying Marks at Raleigh Relays

Dexter Adams (long jump), Tibor Vegh (5,000m), Furst (5,000m), Hutton (400m hurdles), Jones (shot put) all hit regional qualifying marks on the first day of the 2008 adidas Raleigh Relays on Friday. Adams won the long jump, while Vegh and Furst finished 4th and 6th, respectively, in the 5,000m. Hutton was 10th in the 400m hurdles and Jones finished fourth in the shot put.
Reggie Reese finished fifth in the 100m prelims to lead a trio of Wolfpackers who advanced to the finals on Saturday. A'Tolani Akinkuotu (7th) and Adams (11th) advanced, as well.
