No. 45 Women's Tennis down No. 54 Boston College

The No. 45 women’s tennis team defeated No. 54 Boston College 4-3 Saturday afternoon in
The Pack started off great as they were able to take the doubles point. Catherine Grotz and Kristen Bleakley dropped the first doubles match at No. 2, 8-3, against Alina Sullivan and Katharine Attwell.. Julia Roach and Lenka Hojckova were able to take the first doubles match for the Pack 9-7 against Gia Nafarrete and Lana Krasnopolsky. Daria Petrovic and Berkley Brock won a thrilling match at No. 1 doubles in a tiebreaker. They defeated Lauren Cash and Dasha Cherkasov 9-8 (5) to secure the doubles point for the Wolfpack.
Neils Barringer kept the momentum going for the Pack as she was able to defeat Sarah Svoboda 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. Berkley Brock followed that up with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles against Lana Krasnopolsky. Catherine Grotz clinched the victory for the Pack with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Alina Sullivan at No. 5 singles.
Daria Petrovic dropped a 6-4, 7-6 (4) decision to Dasha Cherkasov at No. 2 singles. Julia Roach fell in a tight three set match at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, to Katharine Atwell. Lenka Hojckova also fell in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5, to Lauren Cash at No. 3 singles.
The Wolfpack will return to action on Monday afternoon as they continue conference play against
