Twelve Gymnasts Named to EAGL All-Academic Team

Twelve members of the No. 21 NC State gymnastics team were named to the EAGL All-Academic Team. To be given the honor, the gymnast must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the two previous semesters, as well as a 3.0 cumulative GPA. 87 gymnasts from the eight EAGL teams were named All-Academic. Senior Lauren Singer was named to the EAGL All-Academic Team for the fourth time in her career. She was one of 18 in the conference to earn the honor four years.
Elyse Adams, Mackenzie Payne, and Ashley Shepard were named to the all-academic team for the third straight year. Lauren Deuser was named for the second straight year, and Brittany Crosby earned her first honor this year.
Freshman Amy Depasquale, Brittney Hardiman, Logan Mintz, Megan Rowell, Kirsten Such, and Brittany Vontz were also named to the team, and were eligible because they earned a 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.
The Pack takes on New Hampshire in Durham, N.H. on Saturday, March 22.
